Here you can see traditional buildings with charming southern Fujian scenery, which is honored as a "Museum of Southern Fujian Architecture".What do traditional buildings with charming southern Fujian scenery look like? Let's take a look together.The Wudianshi Traditional District is located in the heart of Jinjiang's old town. It is not only the origin of Jinjiang City but also a national 4A-level scenic spot with an area of nearly 11 square kilometers.
Now we arrive at the Wudianshi Folk Museum, the most typical southern Fujian building. The biggest feature of southern Fujian architecture is the bold use of colors and a large-scale use of red bricks, which is rare in Chinese ancient buildings.Look up at the ornaments on the eaves, called "Jianci". 现在我们来到五店市民俗馆，它是最典型的闽南建筑。闽南建筑最大的特点是用色大胆，大量使用红砖，这在中国古建筑中十分少见。抬头看屋檐上的装饰，它们被称为“剪瓷”。瞧！柱子上雕刻的龙凤、屋顶的燕尾脊，多么精致美观！你还能发现许多中西合璧的房屋，它们由华侨在20世纪50到70年代左右建造，比如庄志旭宅和宛然别墅。
